We'd like to say thank you to Audiophil's Records in Downtown Joliet for getting us on the air as our sponsor at WCSF Joliet 88.7fm. They sell as many albums from these artists as they can. They even go so far as to bring the local music inventory with them to any festivals that they have a merchandise booth at. To top it off, all of the money from those sales go entirely to the artists. Audiophil's will sell your cassette tape, compact disk, or vinyl If you're a DIY band or artist. This is a great family owned business. Support. Visit. Holler.
I can't say enough good things about this recording studio. They are located in the heart of the Joliet scene on the third floor above Chicago Street Pub. Not only did they make the What's Goin' Down In Downtown J-Town Podcast possible, but they've recorded a large number of the bands played on The Local Music Bonanza. They have the knowledge, gear, and experience to capture the essence of the music. They take every project seriously as they are musicians themselves. Follow the link below to visit their website.
I'd like to thank Brent at MoatzArt for creating this logo for the show. He always knocks it out of the park. He does great album covers and flyers as well. His work for the New Orleans North Festival in Downtown Joliet was amazing! He is extremely talented and knowledgeable in the field of web design. He sent me to a platform to create this very website quickly and easily. I appreciate that he took my situation into consideration when helping me get what I needed. He's an active member of the Joliet Music Scene on and off the stage. He just so happens to be the front man of The Righteous Hillbillies!
I found out that Colleen Wild was heading over to Third City Sound in Downtown Joliet to listen to the finished product of her upcoming full band single "Worth It". Josh Nestor was also on hand to record lead guitar on another single to be released from Colleen's new album. So I invited myself out to get a field recording of some behind the scenes

I went behind the scenes at Third City Sound with my ZOOM Podtrak to hang out with The Secret Lives. They were working on their upcoming album with engineer, David Francis. The first single off the album will be released on February 26th, 2021 called "Better For You"
Take a behind the scene look at David Francis and I during our radio show broadcasts.

We've also been known to dub our listeners as Bonanzanites, too. But, I think you get the idea...
